Troop 8's greenbar (the scout leadership within the troop) is
responsible for running the meetings and ensuring an exciting and
fun-filled program of activities for the troop. The greenbar is
elected biannually from among the scouts within the troop who have
attained higher ranks. Greenbar meets on the second Tuesday of
each month at the Senior Center.
Troop 8 also has a large adult committee. These are registered
adults who assist the greenbar and patrols. The adult role in Troop 8
is primarily that of advising the scouts and ensuring safety. We are
always looking for additional volunteers. If you are interested in a
rewarding experince helping the youth of our community, contact our
Scoutmaster,
or stop by one of our Committee Meetings. The Committee meets on the
fourth Tuesday of each month at the Senior Center.
